Through a Broken Window
It didn't take much to rekindle my love affair with the short story after I'd strayed off in pursuit of writing novels, but the best part is that I don't have to choose one over the other. Therefore, I am excited to introduce my first short story collection.
Despite the notion deeply ingrained into my little mind that it's terribly wrong to boast about one's own achievements, in all honesty, if I don't do it then who will? So I admit, this is a blatant, self-promoting post for THROUGH A BROKEN WINDOW--Ten Dark Tales of the Strange and Deranged, a macabre array sure to tickle the darker recesses of even the most squeamish mind.
Within the pages, meet seven-year-old Ronnie who develops an unhealthy appetite for cranberries--or Andre, the traveler who wanders into the wrong neck of the woods. Visit with the ghosts of Virginia City--discover the curse laid down by the mad Scotsman of Seven Troughs--and if you value your life, pray to never cross paths with the Devil of the Desatoya.
From the strange to the deranged, set your imagination on edge and dare to take a look. Don't be shy. Discover for yourself what lies in wait behind the broken window.
THROUGH A BROKEN WINDOW--Ten Dark Tales of the Strange and Deranged, by Nevada author L.F. Falconer--Coming in March 2014!!!
